Megan A. Krueger

Megan, a Nebraska native, was born and raised in Kearney, Nebraska and graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she worked with diverse groups of individuals as a student researcher, and through internships, assisted families to understand the complexities of mental health. Upon graduation, Megan entered the workforce as a case worker and quickly realized her passion for appearing in court and working within the legal system.

With that realized passion of the law, she attended the Nebraska College of Law in Lincoln, Nebraska. During her time at Nebraska Law, Megan sat on the Women’s Law Caucus leadership board as an auction chair and coordinated the 2017 charitable auction. Further, she worked as a law clerk with a private firm and at a public defender’s office gaining experience in matters related to employment law, civil rights litigation, and criminal law.

After receiving her Juris Doctorate in May of 2018, Megan joined Costello Porter Law Firm as an Associate. Megan seeks to advise her clients on the complexities of the law and offer practical solutions and advice in difficult situations. She focuses her practice on litigation with a special focus on the areas of employment and family law. Her desire is to guide her clients through the uncomfortable reality of litigation and provide clear information on the litigation process to reduce client stress and anxiety.

Outside of the law, Megan enjoys spending time with her dog, maintaining her cactus garden, and playing the violin.
