On September 23, 2019 Heather Lammers Bogard along with Megan A. Krueger spoke at the yearly State Risk and Insurance Management Association 2019 conference. Their presentation discussed the growing trend of emotional support animals and the legal implications of this trend under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The session explored the different classes of assistance animals and how employers and businesses should respond.
