Colton was born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming, graduating from Big Horn High School in
2017. He attended Rocky Mountain College, where he played football and graduated with a
Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law Studies.
Colton then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law, receiving his juris
doctorate in May of 2024. During his time at UNL, Colton interned with the Athletic
Compliance Office, and also interned with Costello Porter in the summer of 2023. After
receiving his juris doctorate from UNL Law, Colton joined Costello Porter as an associate in the fall of 2024.
In his free time, Colton enjoys playing golf, hunting, watching sports, and traveling.
